DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (March 9, 2022) – Konover South is pleased to announce the acquisition of approximately a half-acre of land in the South Slope neighborhood of Ashville, North Carolina. The deal was completed on May 9th in a partnership with Brett Krueger and Ryan Israel.
Known as District Brewery, the project will include a 25-room hotel, 10 condo units, a rooftop amenity space, and over 10,000 sf of restaurant and retail space. Project design is already underway, and an anticipated construction start in April of 2023. District Brewery is expected to open in the Fall of 2024.
With over 11 million visitors to the area each year, Asheville has secured itself as a world-class destination for all ages. It has also developed a reputation for being one of the top brewery spots in the world. Continually recognized as Beer City, many visitors come for the walkability factor of its downtown area.
The hotel will be the closest hotel to historic McCormick Field, the home field of Minor League Baseball’s Asheville Tourist, which hosts over 80 annual events drawing over 200,000 guests.
