Konover South purchased and developed the 11.1-acre site in 2004. Publix was relocated from their existing location 1 mile to the East from another Konover owned property. Located on the busy Oakland Park Boulevard and Inverrary Boulevard and adjacent to the Public Library and Governmental/Town Center Development. In addition to Publix, tenants included Pollo Tropical, All-State Insurance, and Little Caesars. Konover South sold the 76,751-square-foot retail center in September of 2016.
Shoppes of Inverrary is a neighborhood shopping center located in Lauderhill, FL, a bedroom community of Fort Lauderdale. Konover South acquired this property in 2004, moved an inline CVS to an outparcel, and relocated the Publix store 1 mile to the west into a newly developed Konover property, Inverrary Falls. Konover then sold the Publix pad to Lauderhill for their new City Hall. The remaining 39,412 sf of leasable area was remodeled and released. Konover South sold the property in January of 2018.
Konover South purchased and developed the 3.4 acres site in 1999. Located on the busy intersection of a Sunrise Boulevard and Sunset Strip, the 21,488 sf retail center, included a Walgreens and Burger King. Konover South sold the property in April of 2014.
Konover South purchased and developed the 9.1 acres site in 2001. Located on the corner of North University Drive and Taft Street the project included a 19,025 sf retail strip center, 23,343 sf two-story professional office building, CVS pharmacy and Wendy’s restaurant. Konover South sold the property in 2018.
Konover South developed West Commercial Landings in 2017. The community shopping center is at the SW corner of Commercial Blvd. and NW 94th Ave. in Sunrise, FL. With excellent visibility to Commercial Boulevard, the center was filled with Wawa, Burger King, The Learning Experience, McAllister’s Deli, Huey Magoos, Papa John’s and Verizon. In 2024, Konover sold all parcels except for the Wawa Parcel, which it intends to hold.
Konover South acquired this 140,080 square-foot shopping center in the Baymeadows bedroom community of Jacksonville in 2007. The center, located off Baymeadows Road and Interstate 295, was anchored by Winn Dixie and Stein Mart. Konover South sold the property in April of 2015.
Konover South developed Vero Beach Square in 2018. The community shopping center is located in the area’s major retail hub along State Road 60 and offers cross access with the Walmart Supercenter and Sam’s Club. The center was filled with Staybridge Suite, Murphy USA, Tire Kingdom, Dunkin, Tropical Smoothy, Jersey Mikes and Supercuts. Konover has sold all parcels except a vacant outparcel located next to Murphy USA with State Road 60 frontage.
Konover South purchased and developed three corners at the intersection of Blairstone Road and Park Road in Tallahassee in 2005. In addition to Publix Supermarket, tenants included Publix Liquor, BB&T, Panera Bread, Supercuts, Circle K and others. Konover South sold the Publix anchored center to Publix in 2014.
Konover South acquired this 107,138-square-foot neighborhood shopping center in 2002. Located at US 192 and SR 535, Konover South redeveloped the center by upgrading the Publix store, remodeling the centers facade, and redeveloping the common areas. Konover South sold the property in May of 2013.
Konover South acquired this vacant 100,000 square foot building in 2012. Located along the retail hub of the heavily traveled US Highway 19, the redevelopment project created two large spaces, a 65,000 sf Burlington Coat Factory and 25,000 sf HH Gregg. Konover South sold the property in March of 2014.
Fairlane Green is a high-profile regional center located in a dense, suburban market of the Detroit metropolitan area. Konover South acquired this property in April of 2010. The retail center included nine buildings of 269,918 sf of leasable area. Anchor tenants included TJ Maxx, Barnes & Noble, Old Navy, Ulta, Longhorn Steakhouse and Chili’s. Konover South sold the property in February of 2012.
Konover South acquired and redeveloped the Livonia Mall is 2008. The new 325,000 square foot Livonia Marketplace retail shopping center located at the southwest corner of Seven Mile Road and Middlebelt Road was anchored by a new Kohls and Walmart. The shopping center complex was sold in January of 2019.
